Symptoms of Alzheimer's residents can widely vary. Early to mid stage residents often have a tendency to wander. Agitation may be prevalent as well.
Providing rocking or gliding chairs can often help to reduce wandering and agitation. A gentle rocking or gliding motion provides a soothing, comforting effect on residents. This helps to ease agitation. It also creates activity and movement which can comfort the resident and deter them from trying to wander. This movement also encourages mild exercise which can also be of great benefit.

It offers 18° of infinitely adjustable tilt for fall prevention. The gentle rocking motion can be used independently from the tilt or in conjunction with the tilt, for a deeper tilt position of 33°.
